7A Math--Due to testing and high school visitation, we will only meet for three full classes next week. During that time we will review Chapter one concepts in Algebra. We will cover square roots, order of operations, and writing expressions. Students need to make sure their Algebra books are covered. Students do not need ot bring their books home each night. They have online access to the text.
7B Math--We will finish Chapter 7 next week. There will be a test on Tuesday. Students will also complete application problems to show if they can apply the concepts learned in the chapter to real world problems. Students will determine if a situation is biased and make predictions from data.
Algebra-- Algebra students will review and take the Chapter 10 test next week. The test will be on Thursday. The test will be in the afternoon because we are switching class times due to testing. On Friday the class will begin Chapter 11. The Algebra students are on a tight schedule to finish because of all the wonderful activities that are scheduled each week until the end of the year. This means we cannot slow down the pace. If students start to struggle I am available before and after school for extra help. I just ask for advanced notice to make sure I do not have meetings to attend.
Eighth Grade Math- Students will continue to work through chapter 4 covering similar figure and dilations. They will also have a quiz on unit rates and proportions on Wednesday. Due to testing and other activities, we will only meet for class three times next week.
