Math 24 practice has begun in middle school. A group of students have been working hard to learn to make 24 out of fractions, decimals, percents, integers and exponents! These cards are challenging at the beginning, but you will be amazed at how talented our students are. With practice, they will be very successful at the regional tournament. If your child is not practicing Math 24, but would like to, have them come visit me! The Girls A Team finished off their season this weekend at WUHS. They entered the tournament in a strong position, after finishing the season in 2nd place. The Bulldogs made it to the final match of the tournament against Brighton. They forced 3 games against Brighton but lost 16-14 in the final game finishing the tournament in 2nd place. I am so proud of all the girls and the progress they made! They played as a team and represented Washington in a fantastic fashion. Awesome season girls! The Boys volleyball team finished their season and the tournament in 4th place. The faced a tough match against and undefeated All Saints Team at WUHS this weekend. The boys played great! The 6th grade class brainstormed and voted on this year's basket theme. The theme of the 6th grade basket is...UP ALL NIGHT. In this basket we are looking for items that keep you up all night, items that you do when you can't sleep and are up all night, and night time items.
