3rd Quarter

February and March are very busy for the Math Department. We have two important competitions.

The Math 24 tournament will be held in February. The 7th graders competing this year are Leah Bieringer, Adam Forkner and Olivia Wegner. The 6th graders competing this year are Ryan Fischer, Jacob Lilla and Katie Rohner. All of the students trained in January for the competition as a group. It is there responsibility to continue to practice until the meet takes place, February 27th.

End of the Quarter

Friday is the end of the quarter. There is an early rAll work that is not turned in by Friday will become a 0 in Powerschool Gradebook. Please make sure all work is turned in to Ms. Bozio before the end of the school day on Friday.

Welcome 2014. Here is what the plan is for the rest of second quarter.

Algebra--we will complete chapter 7 and prepare for the midterm exam.
8th grade --we will be working through chapter 6
7th grade--we will be working our way through chapter6
6A--we will be working on chapter 5
6B--we will be working on chapter 9

These will be the final chapter before the end of the quarter. Students should work hard to maintain or improve their grades over the next 3 weeks. If you have any questions, just email or give me a call.
