Sixth Grade Math— The sixth grade class will continue their work with fractions, decimals and percent. Students need to continue to work on memorizing their benchmark fractions and practice converting from one form to another. Students will work with comparing the three forms and ordering the forms. To compare and order the same form will be used making it essential for students to convert accurately. Students will have an assessment on Wednesday, December 19.
Seventh Grade Math— Seventh grade will be reviewing next week. Students will participate in a variety of activities that will require them to recall information previously taught. We will also use I Have Who Has, Kahoot and other activities as a form of review.
Eighth Grade Math-- Eighth grade will be reviewing skills and working on coordinates. They will practice plotting points, finding percent of numbers, and practicing fraction operations. Students will practice these skills in many formats.
Algebra-- Students will continue their work in chapter 6. Students will be solving systems of equations. Students have learned to do this with graphing, They will now learn two other methods, substitution and elimination. Students will be able to ask any questions about their semester exam this week and start preparing their notecard. Students should use the break to start to prepare for the exam.
