Sixth Grade Social Studies
Students will be learning about the British Isles. Students will research, create graphic organizers, share interesting facts and describe the geography of the area. Students will learn about important historic events and people in this unit.
Sixth Grade Math--Students will be continuing to work through chapter two. The focus of this section is equations. Students will test solutions and solve equations. They will learn about inverse operations and values of variables.
Seventh Grade Math—Students will be continuing their work with integers. Students will have a quiz mid-week. The quiz will be on adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing integers. Students can use online resources to practice these skills.
Eighth Grade Math--Students will begin working in chapter three next week. They will begin working with exponents, negative exponents, and scientific notation. Students will learn to add, subtract, multiply and divide using numbers expressed in scientific notation.
Algebra--Students will be working with inequalities in the next chapter. We will be graphing and solving inequalities. Students will be using the skills from chapter two and solving equations to be successful in chapter 3.
